At 12:49 on Thursday, 9 September, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shakespeare Inn, Upper Bar, Newport.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

RTC involving car crashed into street signs, no persons trapped. Fire crews used HIAB and small gear to move car to a safe place.
