At 22:14 on Sunday, 19 September, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Albrighton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

Reports of a car battery overheating causing smoke to issue. Crews made the vehicle safe and isolated the battery.
