At 19:30 on Monday, 27 September, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Quatford.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 dog rescused from the river by a local canoeist with assistance from crews.
