At 23:21 on Wednesday, 29 September, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Small fire involving insulation in engine bay of skip lorry. Crews used one hose reel jet and small gear to extinguish and make safe.
