At 06:38 on Tuesday, 14 December, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Clun .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Clun. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of a microwave fire in ground floor staff room. Crews extinguished using 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 1 covering jet and PPV.
