At 23:01 on Wednesday, 15 December, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Newport.

6 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera
