At 09:22 on Thursday, 25 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Oswestry.
3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Ellesmere, Oswestry and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
RTC involving 3 vehicles with 2 persons trapped. Casualties have been released from vehicles and left in care of ambulance crews

This incident involved a Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a section of rebar through it's paw. It had been sedated by a vet allowing fire service personnel to remove the rebar using a pedal cutter.
