Reports of fire in kitchen which proved to be leak of gas from fridge. Fire crews removed fridge from property and advised occupier to have electrician attend to check electrics

5 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet, Shrewsbury, Wem and Whitchurch.
Fire involving ground and first floor of property. 4 hose reel jets, 1 main jet and 4 breathing apparatus and other specialist equipment including ceiling hooks and positive pressure fans used to extinguish fire. Ladders, small gear and thermal imaging cameras used to check for hot spots.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.
Fire involving electrical fuseboard and boiler. Fire was out on arrival. Crews carried out a full inspection of the property using a thermal imaging camera and isolated the water, gas and electrics.
