This report, attached marked 10, gives an update on the occupational health service supplied to Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service by the current provider, Working Well Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services, part of the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.  In addition, the report details how the service will be provided from 2015.

The Department for Communities and Local Government has initiated a review of conditions of service for operational staff at all grades, including Brigade Managers, and has published two questionnaires to gather views from Fire and Rescue Authorities.

The submission date for the completed questionnaires will have passed by the date of the Standards and Human Resources Committee meeting.  A copy of the response submitted on behalf of the Fire Authority will be tabled to the meeting for Members' information.

Members are asked to consider a resolution under section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information, as defined by the provisions of Part I of Schedule 12(A) to the Act, by virtue of Paragraphs 1, 2 and 3.
