Press and public relations

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service employ a part-time Press Officer who regularly sends out press releases to local and regional newspapers.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service employ a Brigade Photographer who attends incidents and events throughout Shropshire so that we can record and use the images on our literature, posters and website. We have a good relationship with the local press and regularly communicate incidents or events of interest. Sometimes we send them photographs of the incident / event to use with their story, other times they may dispatch their own local photographers to the scene. (Pictured left)
