At 02:18 on Thursday, 2 October, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Oswestry.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Property fire, 4 persons rescued from 1st floor flat, two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one covering jet
