At 14:14 on Wednesday, 27 May, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Baschurch and Church Stretton.

Fire involving fallen timber 20 square metres of undergrowth 2 trees fire extinguished using 1 hose reel jet 1 jet and the fogging unit off the pinzgauer
