At 17:51 on Saturday, 10 August, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton, Telford and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of embankment fire between junction 3 and 4 of the M54 westbound. Incident involved a small amount of rubbish on fire. Fire crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish fire
