At 14:01 on Thursday, 30 December, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Gobowen, Oswestry .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods

This incident was a false alarm caused by excessive smoke from chimney.
