At 22:55 on Tuesday, 25 January, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving a quantity of bales. Crews used two hose reel jets and drag hooks to extinguish the fire.
