At 20:10 on Thursday, 12 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fence Fire in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

Fire involving fence panels which had caught fire due to a faulty underground electrical cable. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet. Western Power also in attendance.
