At 13:35 on Monday, 18 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Market Drayton.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Market Drayton.

Reports of trees alight which involved 10 metres of conifer hedge, small quantity of tyres, grass and undergrowth. Fire crews used 1 high pressure hose reel jet. Western Power were in attendance at this incident due to power cable being down in the field
