At 18:29 on Monday, 18 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in West Felton, Oswestry.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Baschurch and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving approximately 50x3m of hedgerow. Three hosereel jets used to extinguish fire
