At 11:40 on Monday, 8 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire involving 2 square metres of Leylandii and undergrowth, and 1 square metre of wooden fencing.
