At 14:21 on Monday, 8 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ellesmere.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving roughly 20 square metres of cut grass and shrubs.
