At 18:14 on Sunday, 28 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

400sq m of railway embankment fire involved in fire.
