At 22:00 on Sunday, 11 September, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bonfire in Whitchurch.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Prees.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Two large bonfires extinguished using hose reel jets, due to safety concerns of smoke affecting A41 traffic visibility
