At 12:33 on Tuesday, 20 September, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm due to blown turbo. Crews carried out full inspection of vehicle with thermal imaging camera and small gear.
