At 10:48 on Monday, 19 December, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Craven Arms.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm caused by cigarette smoke
