At 04:47 on Wednesday, 11 January, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flooding in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit and the Water Rescue Unit was mobilised from Oswestry and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Fire service personnel assisting ambulance crews in adverse weather conditions to gain access to patients property.
