At 09:33 on Thursday, 19 January, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

Reports of vehicle fire. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet.
