At 12:55 on Thursday, 19 January, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Petrol in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Reports of smell of petrol/diesal coming from cellars of 2 properties. Fire crews have attended and specialist officers have attended the incident and used monitoring equipment. Severn Trent will be attending this incident.
