At 18:53 on Thursday, 19 January, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Wheelie bin set alight with malicious intent. Fire extinguished using one hosereel jet.
