At 18:35 on Friday, 3 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Shovels/Forks/Brooms

Small fire 1 meter squared near motorway. Intentional burn. Crews extinguished and gave advice to persons involved.
