At 00:21 on Sunday, 12 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Dorrington, Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Breathing Apparatus (BA)
  • Hosereel jet
  • Positive Pressure Ventilation
  • Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving ground floor bedroom - six breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one main jet, one positive pressure ventilation fan and thermal imaging cameras in use
