At 15:43 on Sunday, 12 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bishops Castle.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Church Stretton. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Knapsacks

Two separate seats of fire caused by BBQ. Crews extinguished using Kanpsacks and buckets of water.
