At 15:43 on Monday, 13 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Wellington.
3 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Chimney rods
- Hosereel jet
- Thermal imaging camera
This incident involved 1 chimney fire within a 2 storey property. Crews removed brickwork to gain access to the chimney and used the aerial ladder platform, hose, chimney rods, thermal imaging camera and a snake eye camera to extinguish.
