At 16:51 on Monday, 20 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Staffs.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Request from ambulance service to attend road traffic collision with one person trapped. Male self-extracated from vehicle. Fire crews made vehicle safe due to smoke coming from engine.
