At 14:53 on Monday, 13 March, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Chimney rods
• Stirrup pump
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire in flue of chimney. Natural ventilation used in smoke logged property. Crews used chimney rods, stirrup pump and thermal imagine camera. Property has been fully ventilated and temperatures checked.
