At 20:47 on Wednesday, 22 March, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Wem.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees, Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police and a utility company.
