At 17:34 on Saturday, 1 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Small fire involving cut down conifer branches and pines needles on floor. Crews used a hosereel jet to extinguish and drag rakes to turn ground over
