At 03:53 on Tuesday, 4 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Reports of a person in the river. Crews arrived to find persons were out prior to their arrival and left in the care of Ambulance Service.
