At 07:29 on Tuesday, 4 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Church Stretton.

This incident involved a small pocket of fire involving gorse which had burnt out on the arrival of crews.
