At 09:30 on Friday, 14 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

False alarm caused by fault in lift shaft setting off smoke detector.
