At 20:20 on Sunday, 16 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Church Stretton.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Church Stretton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Shovels/Forks/Brooms

Fire in the open, crews used one hose reel jet, spade and a shovel to extinguish.
