At 08:17 on Sunday, 23 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was caused by a faulty air compressor which caused heavy smoke logging. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one main jet, one covering jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish.
