At 12:18 on Wednesday, 17 May, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Chillcott Gardens, Bridgnorth Road, Madeley .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale.

Fire contained to food within microwave in kitchen of flat. Fire out on arrival, and fire crews isolated the microwave and ventilated the property.
