At 14:08 on Saturday, 27 May, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Railway Embankment in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire measuring approx 200 square meters of grass. Crews used one hosereel jet and high pressure lance to extinguish.
