At 16:06 on Saturday, 27 May, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Fire measuring approx 10m X 10m located in external property which has spread to utility and soffits. 4 breathing appratus', 2 hosereel jets and 2 thermal imaging cameras in use to extinguish.
