At 09:58 on Monday, 29 May, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as RTC HGV in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear

1 Lorry overturned in verge, no persons trapped, crews made vehicle safe using small gear.
