At 07:32 on Friday, 2 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fuel Leak/Spillage Large in Swan Garage, Worcester Road, Burford , Tenbury Wells.

3 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow.

Report of large loss of fuel from underground fuel tank. Booms set up in river to contain the leaking petrol and tanker attending to empty the leaking tank of remaining fuel. Environment Agency in attendance.
