At 07:53 on Friday, 2 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow Racecourse, Ludlow.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Craven Arms.

Report of fire in the open which was found to be a controlled burn on the neighbouring farm with responsible person in attendance.
