Fire In Open

At 19:06 on Friday, 2 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Knighton.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

This incident is 150sqm of woodland, seperate seats of fire . Crews used 2 hose reel jets to damp down hotspots
