At 19:52 on Tuesday, 6 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Shrewsbury.

Report of automatic fire alarm activation. Incident involved small fire in lift shaft caused by lubricating oil in contact with engine compartment. Fire was out on arrival of fire crews and inspection only. Advice given.
