At 18:56 on Friday, 9 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

This incident was a false alarm due to a mechanical failure
